Course Description:
Participants learn about the various tools and materials
used to create various types of ‘faux’ wood and marble. The
course consists of explanations, demonstrations and some hands-on practice making example panels of wood and
marble. The course focuses on techniques for constructing
very believable examples in general, rather than producing
exact imitations of specific woods and marbles. This
approach
allows the student to go on to work creatively and
independently, employing the techniques learned.
